TD Term to 100 life insurance coverage

As long as your premiums are paid, TD Term to 100 offers you guaranteed coverage to age 100 and beyond, which means that premiums after age 100 are paid by TD Life. As with TD Term 10 and TD Term 20, this coverage pays a tax-free, lump-sum amount to your designated beneficiaries.

Here are the specifics:

Term period

Coverage range $25,000 to $5 million
Premiums Guaranteed not to change; premiums end at age 100 but coverage remains in effect
Payment options Monthly or annual
Death benefit Tax-free, lump sum paid to your designated beneficiaries
Reinstatement of policy (after missed or cancelled payments) Subject to approval, can be reactivated within 2 years of policy lapsing due to non-payment of premium
Additional options (added at time of purchase for additional cost) When you purchase a TD Term to 100 plan before age 59, you can add the Waiver of Premium, which ensures coverage if you become disabled before age 65
Eligibility requirements Must be 18 to 70 years of age, and a resident of Canada (except for Quebec)

What happens if I live to be older than 100?
With TD Term to 100 life insurance, you no longer have to pay premiums after you turn age 100. Your coverage, however, remains in place. Your designated beneficiaries will receive their tax-free, lump-sum payment even if you die after your 100th birthday.

Can TD Insurance decide to discontinue my term life policy?
TD Insurance cannot discontinue a term life insurance policy. As long as you continue to pay your premiums, you cannot lose coverage once it has come into force, regardless of the status of your health.
