With family insurance features like this, you can feel confident knowing your loved ones have insurance they can depend on.
Family Coverage And Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying has left a major impact on countless families across Canada, with a lot of victims suffering in silence. Nearly 1 in 5 young Canadians have been victims of this form of threat and intimidation. The harm caused by cyberbullying can’t be ignored. We take this to heart and that’s why we offer a feature covering acts of cyberbullying and online harassment.
Anyone that’s insured in your household that is 21 and under and enrolled full-time in primary, middle or secondary school is eligible for this coverage.
This protection provides up to $45,000 in coverage for additional expenses resulting from harassment, intimidation, defamation of character, invasion of privacy and threats of violence, subject to limits.
Such expenses include*:
Psychologist or psychiatric services.
Expenses related to new school enrollment or private tutoring.
Use of digital forensic analysts and cybersecurity consultants.
*subject to individual limits
You aren’t alone. We’re here to support you on every step of the journey and work with you to rise above cyberbullying.

Having a parent in a nursing home can sometimes be a concern. You want to make sure they’re being cared for as if you were caring for them yourself. That’s why Family Coverage includes liability protection, belongings coverage, and protection for additional living expenses. If you have power of attorney and the person you’d like to receive this coverage is in a Canadian nursing home, you’re eligible to take advantage of this coverage.
