Automatic Home Recovery Benefit – A Little Extra Help for your Home Health Care

If you have been hospitalized, your recovery will typically include recuperation time at home. So, in addition to daily cash benefits, the TD CASH plan can also provide an automatic Recovery Benefit that you can use for your home health care as well as things like meals, parking, gas, etc. This additional cash payment is equal to one day of your hospitalization benefit and is payable when you’re discharged from hospital if you’ve been hospitalized for 48 hours or more and we’ve paid a Daily Hospital Benefit for that hospital stay1.

A no-risk way to get the accident and illness coverage you need



1 Only one Recovery Benefit is payable per hospitalization. If you’re hospitalized again within 180 days for the same cause, the second hospitalization is treated as a continuation of the first, and the Recovery Benefit is only payable once, when you’re first discharged.
